The best feature about Providence however is its proximity to the beautiful, private shell filled beaches of Captiva Island.  Just across the road is a short sandy path that brings you to one of the most peaceful and family friendly beaches is the world.  You can enjoy the sun and water during the day and experience the magnificent sunsets in the evening.

There is no end to the activities available on Captiva Island.  All water sports are available including: Boating (our kayaks or nearby rentals), Jet Skiing, Parasailing, Fishing (on from our dock, the beach or with a guide) and more.  You can ride bicycles (we have 8) or jog on the nearby path.  Shopping and dining options (family or world class) are nearby.
